When I asked Cindy about her boudoir experience and if she’d like me to share her story she quickly said yes! Cindy is an incredibly amazing woman whose energy fills up the room when she walks in. She walked into my studio with the biggest smile and I knew we were going to be instant friends. Below are answers to some of the questions I had for her about her boudoir experience.
“I was in a relationship for 7 years, that was mostly a lie, and I began to feel like It was all my fault, like I was the , reason he lied. I didn’t like who I was and thought at the age of 64, no one else would want to be with me. And cried for days, I still do sometimes after 10 months. I saw Emily’s information about the pictures and still wasn’t sure, I wasn’t sure I wanted to see me feeling like this. But after talking with her on the phone, I felt better, but still the fear of the unknown was still there. Even though I was afraid, I stepped up and put on a big smile and tried not to cry, she asked me lots of questions, and as I was answering them, still scared, she made me feel so comfortable. By the time I left I felt like I could do anything, and I felt beautiful, and I could do life again.”
“After talking to you, and you had some of the same thoughts and feeling as I did, you understood what I was feeling. I felt comfortable and I just knew if I was going to do this, it would definitely .be with you. You gave me comfort and understanding.”
“It was fabulous, after seeing the pictures, I saw me again. I saw that I was as good as I always was, or better. I can hold my head up with pride that it wasn’t me, it wasn’t because of who I was, (I was 13 years older then him) it was his lies and I shouldn’t let his lies define who I am. Emily was very patient, and quit funny, and we had lots of stories to tell.”
“GO FOR IT…. it cant hurt you, it can only give you a lot of the courage you deserve, to step up to a new world, and sooo much confidence you will not believe. SMILE life is short, enjoy find something everyday that you can smile about, even if it’s a bird on the porch, or a child being silly. I’m 64 yrs old and I want you to know, I would do it again, my pictures on my table and I look at them when I feel those feeling coming back.”
