Being one of Kansas City’s Boudoir Photographer, doesn’t mean we only work with women from KC. We have a lot of clients that will travel in for their session. Today’s post is one of those that traveled in. Her and her mother drove in from Omaha, NE and had their sessions on different days back to back. They spent quality time together at a local hotel, drove around Kansas City, ate some great barbecue and worked on their day not in their session. Sounds like a really great mom/daughter trip to me 🙂
I asked Kati about her experience at the studio after her session and wanted to share it with you today.
Were you nervous about your session?
“Not at all! I think being in the Facebook group beforehand made me less nervous.”
(If you’d like to join the group, the link is at the bottom of the page. )
What did you like best about your boudoir experience?
“It was so fun and I felt like I was the star of the show! Emily truly is an expert at what she does which made it even more natural.”
What inspired you to book a boudoir session?
“My mom was doing it and the body positivity you gain from a session is amazing.”
Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?
“Absolutely! I felt so strong and powerful and beautiful.”
Would you recommend this experience to a friend?
“YES!! Next time I want to book a session and go down with some friends and we all have a session.”
Is there anything we can do to make the experience better for you in the future?
“Nothing I can think of. The experience was truly top notch, professional, and so much fun.”

My group on Facebook is a place for humans to talk about boudoir photoshoots. It is a safe space for humans to lift each other up and encourage one another.
If you’re a client, or thinking about doing a session, this is the place to be. We also run contests and special sales in our group from time to time.
